Showing up everywhere from runway collections and style savvy celebs, to a bevy of fashion bloggers, this turban/headband hybrid is definitely a hot item for Spring 2011. I'll admit at first glance I was a bit wary, but it didn't take long for me to fall for the 70's head piece craze.
Even the RVA girls are getting in on the action!
If you want to try to make one out of fabric, check out this diy from Get Craftee. I am working on my own take on the turban headband, hopefully I can share tomorrow.
Today was hectic. I thought I had a 35mm camera lined up for school (class starts Wednesday! eeeek!) but that fell through, so today was spent out on the hunt for a camera that would work for school, which wound up being a bit more of challenge than I anticipated! Turns out manual film cameras aren't as easy to come by as you'd think, and since school is starting so soon I didn't really have time to order one. After trying out every camera store within an hour's drive and having absolutely no luck, I decided to pull out the big guns and preyed upon family! Turns out my uncle had the perfect thing, and it was just sitting around in a closet collecting dust, so he said I could take it for my class. (Thanks again Uncle Dave!) I'll share more abut my camera soon!
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend!
